Project Highlights

The Brief

This 330 Sqft commercial property was a renovation project. The requirement was to accommodate around 5 staff desks, 2 separate cabins, a pantry, a waiting area, reception, and complete washroom renovation.

The layout of this space was particularly challenging (33'Lx10'W). This was a Vastu-compliant office layout. The main door was shifted to the far left only to save around 7" of space that could be utilized for the cabin.

A lot of personalization and smart thinking were applied to retain the functionality of the interiors and space for ease of day-to-day use.

Staff Area

As per the client's requirement, the staff area was planned near the window. This space was narrower than the total width of 10 feet. We got approximately 6' space to plan 4 workstations on the washroom sidewall expanded all the way to the ceiling for overhead storage planning above these workstations.

On the opposite side wall, 2 more workstations were made in order to increase the total capacity of staff seating to 6. The color palette was kept light and simple to maintain the visual flow in the design to make the space look more spacious.

Walkway

Four feet wide entry and walkway were created after shifting the main door to the far left. This walkway has a small reception desk, a customized sofa for waiting, a display unit, and overhead storage.

Director Cabins

Two director cabins are 8.5'x6' each, which is quite spacious for a small office. These cabins were divided by a full glass partition for natural daylight flow from the only window in the entire office. Glass partitions also contribute to the modern, stylish, and contemporary looks that we needed to achieve.
Beautiful Burnwood and Frost White Core laminate perfectly complements, yet distinguishes cabins from the rest of the places. A combination of back-painted glass and a maroon fabric soft board with task lighting was provided for functionality.

Pantry and Washroom

The washroom door had to be shifted from right to left to create a corner for the pantry countertop. It also created a corner inside the washroom for the vanity platform to make optimum utilization of space inside the washroom.

Outdoor and Signage Panel

Matte finish wooden laminate was pasted in a horizontal groove pattern to elongate the look. Contrast stone finish laminate was used for the signage panel which was finished with the spotlights.
